RPS Announces Support of Global Paintball League and Congratulates Teams on Huntington Beach NPPL Performance RPS Paintball is proud to announce that they will be sponsoring the Global Paintball League (GPL) for the 2007 Season. Players in the GPL will now have the opportunity to shoot "RPS All-Star" paintballs. "RPS All-Star" has built a reputation as one of the most sought after high performance paintballs in the sport due to its rich winning legacy and patented formula. Johnny Postorivo of KEE Action Sports (manufacturer and distributor of RPS Paintballs) said, "The GPL is a strong organization that supports both paintball players and the sport in general. It is a pleasure for us to be working with them again and we believe that players will appreciate the quality and performance of the RPS All-Star paint that we'll be providing". In addition to supplying paint for the series, RPS is also the title sponsor for the NEW "All-Star Challenge". The All-Star Challenge is an incentive based program that allows players from all divisions to accumulate points over the course of the season based on their performance while shooting RPS All Star Paintballs. Season winners of the All Star Challenge will be eligible to win prizes including paintballs, Virtue boards, and playing gear. The GPL hosts 6 events at Del Hobbies Paintball in Pedrickstown, NJ (a short distance from Philadelphia) with Young Guns, Division 3, and Division 2 classifications. The GPL offers teams the option of playing in 3 Man, 5 Man, or 7 Man formats. For more information about the GPL and the All Star Challenge please go to www.thegpl.com. RPS would also like to congratulate the teams that claimed the top spots in Semi-Pro, Division I, and Division II at the NPPL season opener at Huntington Beach, CA. RPS EVIL and Marballizer slinging Semi-Pro team, SE X-Factor, beat the extremely solid, San Diego Aftermath, in a two-game route in front of a standing room only beachfront crowd. TCP Machine and Splat Kids, also fueled by RPS, had outstanding performances and claimed the top spots in Divisions I and II. Another noteworthy performance was made by the newly promoted professional team Edmonton Impact. Now shooting RPS EVIL and Marballizer, Edmonton Impact claimed 2nd place in the Pro Division at the first and Biggest NPPL event of the year, in front of a crowd of thousands. Only an elite handful of teams have ever finished in the top 2 in the NPPL Pro Division. Impact's performance at HB is a testament to the talent, drive, and dedication of the team. RPS paintballs are the overwhelming choice of paintballs for NPPL Pro and Semi-Pro teams and are preferred by Chicago EVIL, Ironmen, Edmonton Impact, New England Hurricanes, Los Angeles Infamous, Las Vegas LTZ, and the newly formed NJ Authority. RPS produces the most consistent "tournament winning" paintball in history and continues its rich tradition of supporting the world's finest teams.
